Keynote Address (by Fr. George Packiasamy):

John 10:10 - "I have come so that they may have life and have it to the full." We as Christians should get involved to help with care and concern for one another. We should give value, respect and dignity to our fellow human beings, especially to the poor, marginalised, weak, disadvantaged, etc.

Let us work together with the AOHD for better understanding and growth in the area of Human Development, as well as the development of ALL persons. We need to work together in our BECs and parish community in order to promote social awareness, justice and peace.

Let our vision & mission be rooted in the Gospel Message and grow in our faith as individuals & as community.

We thank Charles Leon De Lima for untiring service for the past five years and we welcome Steven Dionis, the new chairperson.

Vocation Promotion @ Visitation Church

A Vocation Promotion exhibition & talk was conducted by the Archdiocesan Vocation Promotion Team at Visitation Church on 18 July 2010. English, Tamil and Mandarin speaking Catechism students (pre-confirmation & confirmation), youth and parents were invited.










Fr Christopher, who is the Vocation Director of the Archdiocesan Vocation Promotion Team (AVPT), organised this event with the AVPT team, and he celebrated the Saturday evening Mass in English as well as the 7:30 am Mass in Tamil and the 9 am Mass in English.










Let us pray for more vocations and continue to seek out, identify and encourage our young, so that we would have more vocations to the priesthood and religious life.

Rt. Rev. Antony Selvanayagam, Bishop of Penang celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of Carmel at the Carmelite Monastery on 16 July 2010 at 6 pm.

This is the 3rd anniversary of the Carmelite Monastery in Seremban. The Carmelite Sisters were in Mantin, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia since 17 October 1982 and moved to Seremban on 20 July 2007.

The 3 key words of Rt. Rev. Antony Selvanayagam in his homily are:
1. To follow Jesus...
2. To listen to Jesus...
3. To live in Community...

More than 500 people from all over Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Selangor and Seremban attended this feast day celebration.

Classical Concert in aid of Visitstion Restoration Fund

A charity concert was held on 12th July 2010 at The Klana Resort, Seremban in aid of the Visitation Church Seremban Restoration Fund, performed by two talented classical guitarists - Sebatian Pompilio (Argentine) and Justin Hyer (British), in attendance, The Seremban Gregorian Choir.
