NITE OF THE MUSICAL STARS 2011

The Musical Stars 2011
The Tamil Speaking Communion Ministers had organised a Tamil concert themed "Night of Musical Stars 2011" in aid of the Visitation Church Restoration Works. This event was planned since November 2010 and it was a last event for the Church fund raising project. This concert was staged show at the Chuang Hua High School Hall, Jalan Templer, Seremban It was held on 5th March, 2011 (Saturday) at 8.00 pm. About 1500 people attended the concert. The Local Tamil Artists and Dance groups were invited to perform the concert.

Tamil Apostolate organises Banana Leaf Lunch for Church Restoration Fund

The Visitation Church Tamil Apostolate organised a banana leaf lunch on Sunday 31 Oct 2010 from 12 pm - about 2 pm to raise funds for the Church Restoration. A sizable number of parishioners and visitors came to support this endeavour and enjoy a delicious banana leaf meal.

Breakfast Sale - Catechism Classes for Restoration Fund 2010

On Sunday 26 September 2010, the Catechism teachers organised a Breakfast Sale for the Restoration Fund. Many items and food stuff were sold. Sales were good and most items were sold quite quickly.

Chinese Apostolate Pasar Malam for Restoration Fund 2010

The Chinese Apostolate organised a Pasar Malam on Saturday 25 October 2010 for the Restoration Fund 2010. Sales were brisk and successful and most items, especially food stuff, were sold out. A cartoon movie titled Prince of Egypt was shown as part of the attractions.

Launching of Visitation Church Restoration Fund Raising

The Visitation Church Restoration Fund Raising has been launched on 14 and 15 August 2010, during Sunset and Sunday Masses. The first project to be launched is the distribution of Children's Saving tins which will be held for 3 months. Catechism Children of 15 years and below were given savings tins, so that they could go about collecting money and/or putting some of their allowance into the tins.


Other upcoming projects are Fruit Cake sale and community-based projects which have the intention of bringing about unity and fellowship among parishioners.
